Opposite attracts

  Looking outside the window & its snowing. The wonderful but cold winter is here. So, as time flies by, one has to wonder why many of us are still holding on to the past when we should be looking to the future. Yeah, this is the cold, hard truth.
 
  2 different people from different backgrounds should technically not be together but the wonders of life just makes it even more beautiful. Seeing all kinds of things since I came back almost 4 months ago, its just so... It's hard to describe in words but that's life.

  As for me, I'm just wondering around like a lifeless soul. Finding for that perfect person. It may take time. Days, months or maybe years but that is what maybe God wants from me. He is STILL writing a beautiful love story for me.

  BUT deep down, you be wondering why am I posting about this, right? This could be random or maybe I'm just going crazy. Who knows??? Looking around at your surroundings & then looking at yourself. You may feel pathetic but somewhere, someone is admiring you.

   As it's already the last month of the year, everything is just getting more complicated. Studies, social life, finance. Life as a medical student can be tough. BUT, lets see what happens in 2013. Hope it would be better...

Missions C04. The Best Time With The Best People

1st August 2012,

   Being at the LCCT at 4am thinking what i would be doing in Cambodia after 4 weeks of hell doing my attachment at UMMC. Sitting around & being quiet throughout the flight till we reach Phnom Penh. Feeling shy, as always is something that i don't like. On the way to Takeo Province, trying hard    to fall asleep after staying up the whole night. After reaching the church around 3pm Cambodian time, we were greeted by Pastor Lak's family. Having lunch & unknowingly eating intestine, eventhough it was tasty. After taking a short nap, it was time to help the others to pack the medicine. Sitting there & being bitten by mosquito. Oh well!!!

2nd August 2012
   Waking up at 5am is not something I like to do but it was refreshing. The 1st patient arrive & it was the church elder. Taking his pressure. That was the start of a busy day. Ended up over 100 patients arriving that day. A killer day but aunties food was delicious. yum yum ^_^

3rd August 2012
   The same routine again till lunch. Ended up goin to the pharmacy to buy lunch. Wow, that was only the second time i rode on a motocycle in my life. Being scared at first before it started to get fun. Even snapped some great pictures. Ended up another 100++ patients were there.

 4th August 2012
   My turn to go to the market. WEEEEEE. Oh, long time never walk around a market. Buying food, water & things for the kids to play. Everything was well until some complications at night. Thats the past.

5th August 2012
   Again to the market, this time much earlier because need to get back before the start of church service. Aunty don't want me to carry anything eventhough i wanted too. Oh well, at least Alyssa carried everything. haha. Back to the church & Vaani was in charge of teaching the kids how to take shower.While everyone else became models for Colgate. All 'semangat gosok gigi'. Then it was service, lunch & Pastor went to the capital for his meeting. Then it was the afternoon trip up the small hill & also visiting the dried up lake.

6th August 2012
   A boring day. Not many patients came. All thought we left already. The patients started to arrive after 3pm. When for a walk around the village in the evening with all the village kids.

7th August 2012
   Waking up & having a sorethroat. Another smooth day with not many patients. 1st time acting like a doctor & asking questions with the help from Dr. Connie, Alyssa & Thanusha. The 2nd patient I had was hit on the back by a cow 0.o Not something you see everyday. The last night at the church :'(

8th August 2012

   The last day of the mobile medical clinic. Treated a few more patients before it was over. Then it was time to go to Pastor's house. When to the Cambodia-Vietnam border & it was cool standing on a free land. Then it was the waterfall. A nice place to visit. It was late to climb up the mountain though. At night it was sugar heaven. Tasted all kinds of Cambodian desserts. Slumber party with Davidson & Owen. That was freaking gay.

9th August 2012
  Time to leave to Phnom Penh. Seeing little Peter crying was a sad sight to see. Mama Vaani was so sad to leave her son :'( A 2 hour drive back to the capital & it was shopping time. Ended up buying a lot of souveniors & ate Cambodian style fried rice. Then it time to visit the Royal Palace. Massage time... oh my back. Now it feels much better. When to the shopping mall & took pictures with aunty. Next was the river side. Sitting there & eating crickets & tarantula. Tasty but weird. Then is back to the school. The last night in Cambodia. Time to draw things on Davidson's face & body. That was fun.

10th August 2012
   Time to go back. So sad seeing aunty crying non-stop when we were at the airport. Our last fun together before we go. Miss the bond & togetherness we had & not to forget that Davidson winning 5 3D lame award. I miss you guys.

20yrs & the smile is back.

   Wow, what a day i had today.Never thought it would be this awesome. Wishing that all of this happen everyday,it would be so awesome. Started slowly with law class before going to Pushkin hostel. Seriously miss that old place so much. Went they & online till 3pm before the FA cup match.Watch the match with the twins & eric. wat a game only to be spoil by the internet goin down just b4 scoring the winning goal. Atleast they won.
   Then it was lunch. I seriously never ate so much tasty food in a long time. So damn awesome. They were making sure i go back being fat. I thing they succeeded in doing so. Then to make things more awesome, they got me a gift. Never expected that. I really love the gift so much. Not to forget the tasty cake also. So yum yum ^_^ . & yeah also watch a movie. My groupmates are so damn awesome. I really really love them so much.
   Then it was CG, pushkin style. very simple, fast but interesting. It was very fun & lively with me bein quiet :P & again,i ate. & again the food was tasty as always :)))))) Thx for making me welcome as ur guest.
   All in all had by far, i think, the best bufday ever in my life. 14/4/2012 will always be an awesome day in my life.

p/s just to end my day before goin back, at least saw someone & saying goodbye to her. that was damn awkward but also very .....

GROUP 88 :)))))))

   1st day was a quiet day & really did not get to know my new group mates. never really had a chance to talk to them. Chem was normal as always & lect was boring.

   2nd day, finally get to know them & yeah, they are really cool people. Bio was fun & latin was surprisingly not as boring as it used to be. Bibiloteka station was ROFL-ing coz of staring at the ceiling thing. Gt interviewed in the metro d whole way till reach frunzen. haha was an awkward but cool thing at d same time. PE class was amazing. finally i could skate & every1 had fun. I like the falling part a lot. 

   Conclusion, 2day was a nice day & i really like my new group mates. oh yeah, one of my group mate is also from st.john. nice 2 hav a johanian ard. hehe :)

time to get serious

    So fast 3 weeks just pass by. Want to relax at home. no need study, no need study. no need wash clothes*hate that a lot*. All this is over, need to get my head back to d main objective. the good thing also is dat finally i reach 60kg. finally reach there after so long stuck at ard 55kg. Anyway also, at least ate like a mad person wen i was there. Malaysian food never tasted this good also. Oh yeah, the tasty food dat i brought back here. gt enough maggi 2 survive till july ( hope so ) plus sardines & london rolls. Also mamee monster & more milo. now my luggage bag is a food department a.k.a. food heaven. What ever also, another 5 months & i can enjoy everything all over again. *faster faster*.
   OK, 2nd sem, new me, new approach, but same aim. All the best & study smart.

to go or not to go????

September 2011- Wow, waited for so long 2 start my journey in Moscow. At first, was so fun before i started    to hate it.

October 2011- Slowly but surely, doubts started to fill up in my head. Thinking, 'WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE?'. Ok, trying not to think about it that much.

November 2011- Finally, classes started. Oh great, feeling alone, most of the time. never liked it at all. Its like how much i tried to make friends here, I was still a lonely person. Wow, i was comparing my life here & wen i was in AIMST. Missing does guys so much. Plus that horrible Deepavali nite. At least met some cool seniors though.

December 2011- Another stressful month. Still doubting myself.

January 2012- Meet some cool seniors. wow. Finally feeling more happy but not much. At the end, at least i came back home. Need to get away from every1 for a while. What a good idea.

February 2012- Thinking what to do now. so the conclusion is to go back 2 moscow & finish what i started. Thank you to does who helped me. Really appreaciate it.

2nd week of my holiday

What a day, sleep a lot today. been eating like a pig also *figure of speech*. classes started today but still back in msia. 

Need to be more focus this semester. Need all to fall in place perfectly. no more playing around. need to bring my serious self again.

And almost forgot, gt back my racquet today, need to some cardio training b4 i go back to moscow. 1 week of workout.
